Chick 'N' Deli closed, Climax Jazz Band have a new home
Chick 'n' Deli, the place, in Toronto, to hear live Jazz for over 30 years closed it's doors on the 9th April 2011 and will not be reopening. The business was once owned by Jack Brewer, (NHLer Carl Brewer's brother) until his death Aug. 22, 2007. Then it was owned by Kathleen Brewer (Jacks wife) and Steve Amuno. The Chick'N"Deli has been the home of The Climax jazz Band since 1983.
The Climax Jazz Band have now moved to Scruffy Murphys - 150 Eglinton Ave, Toronto and will be on stage Saturdays between 4 and 7pm.
