Mark Twain Jazz Festival, Elmira
Dinny & The All Stars were invited to play for the Mark Twain Jazz Festival in August in Elmira New York. It was a wonderful experience. There were 3 bands and the festival was hosted by Joe Cavelaro and his band.
They closed off the street by a park, had barbaques going, french fries and what ever to eat and lots of great beer. People brought their lawn chairs and sat and danced to the super bands. It was a nice warm sunny day and many people from the Kitchener area and Toronto came. Dinny's band had Canadians and Americans in it. That is why it is called The All Stars.
We had a wonderful host who housed Dinny & I and Wayne and Nancy. They were very generous with their hospitality. It was Lynn & Pam Eberhardt. It was a lot of fun and would love to do it again.
