Last Jazz Gig  - come join Dinny and the All Stars

This is the very last gig for our bands at a former Kitchener Jazz Club.  We are inviting any musicians to come and join in with us for a jam session in the last set and to sit in with our band.

This has been a special venue for us for amany years. Many of you will know that we recorded our CD there in April 2009.  You can read all about our recording adventure here ;  Dinny's live jazz CD recording - Take 2

It is a sad day for all of  Kitchener jazz fans, We are moving to a new location. The Legion just up the street, in Waterloo. We are honoured to be playing for the last day there and would really like to see a good farewell.

Kitchener Jazz Club

Dinny and the band were at the best Jazz Club in Kitchener, Ontario in October and will be there again in December. This is a fantastic place to go. You can't go any where and hear a different band every Saturday. There is a lot of great music fun and dancing.

It is run by Wayne and Nancy Pauli. They work very very hard to keep this great place going. There is a small cover charge but it is well worth it. You can also become a member and then your cover charge is less at the door. It is every Saturday from Sept. to May. The place is well kept and has a great bar. So be sure to come up and enjoy this super music and fun every Saturday in Kitchener.

Dinny and The Allstars plus many other bands are fortunate enough to have a spectacular jazz venue in Kitchener. Wayne & Nancy Pauli keep this place hopping with great bands all year round. It is a lot of hard work and planning and we should and are all very greatful to them and to Mike Kelly who owns and lets us use it for this wonderful jazz these bands play.

Live At The Lanc - Dinny And The All Stars CD Preview

Dinny And The All Stars CD - Live At The Lanc CD is ready. There are twelve tracks in total. We have uploaded some sample tracks to our website so you can have a sneak preview. The CD launch party is being held in Kitchener on the 19th September 2009 and we would love to see you there, so if you can make it please do.

CD Release Party - Dinny and the All Stars

I'm so excited Dinny And The All Stars CD is going through the final production steps almost ready for distribution. The CD release Party will be in Kitchener on the 19th September come join us between 4 and 7 pm for the fun and festivities.

Dinny's live jazz CD recording - Take 2

Well it was quite an upsetting weekend.  Friday (24th April 2009) the first part of the Live Jazz CD recording went great at The Brogue and I believe the recording there went well.

Saturday (25th April 2009) started off great but the big storm hit the area around Kitchener very bad and all the power went out after the band had played their 3rd piece.  Everyone just stood there in shock and could not beieve what happened.  It went out at 4.20pm and did not come back until 6.50pm.  After we all composed ourselves the band got playing again to entertain the fans for the rest of the afternoon in the dark. They all stayed and applauded Dinny for picking up and starting again.

Due to time constrains the only thing to be done was to reschedule.  So we are going for Take 2 and will be recording the rest of the CD on the 9th May 2009 in Kitchener from 4pm onwards.

Big thanks to all our fans for your support, staying with us in the dark and helping to keep our spirits up.  Hope mother nature gives us good weather for the next recording session.  Look forward to seeing you all again then.
